Can I listen to the auction online?
Yes, but depending on the speed of your internet connection and the amount of people connected, you may be up to one minute or more behind the live broadcast. If you're monitoring the auction from one of our websites and you hear an item that you would like to bid on, we suggest calling right away. Once the item has closed, you may be too late if there are no extras, so if you're waiting on a particular item, start dialing as soon as you hear the bidding begin.
Can I participate in the auction online?
Yes, all of the “Buy it now” items will be available for sale starting 9am 04.15.17 running through 1pm 04.15.17. Visit www.alaskaradioauction.com or www.facebook.com/alaskaradioauction and shop at your leisure. Products quantities available online vary, and when sold out, you may call the auction line to see if there are additional certificates available. Please note that until you have completed the “check-out” those items are still available for sale to others. There is a 5 minute “queue” while items are in your shopping cart. After that time, it is first-come, first-served.
Can I Pre-Bid the Big Ticket items?
Yes! All Big ticket items can be pre-bid via telephone starting 8am 04.14.17 and ending at 5pm 04.14.17 by calling 907-344-4045 and ask to “pre-bid”. We will take all information at that time to include Name, telephone # and credit card info. Reserve and Bid limits can/will be set at that time. On the day of the auction, all pre-bids will be taken in the studio live. Select big ticket items will also have a “BUY IT NOW” price that will allow you to purchase out right and supersede all bidding.
What Are "Extras"?
We often have more than one of a particular item. After the item has closed, we will announce if there are extras or not. The extras will be available at the same price as the winning bid. We will continue to sell the extras on a separate phone number until they are gone. Not all items will have extras. If you hear an item you'd like to bid on, don't assume that there are extras or you may be disappointed. The Extras phone number is listed below in the phone numbers section.
When Can I Get My Items?
Items purchased may be picked up beginning Monday, April 17th between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at our studios, 833 Gambell Street (corner of 9th & Gambell) in Anchorage or at our Palmer location 7610 E.
